Junior Clinics Our junior clinics run through the year. The clinics consist of one time lesson sessions. The clinics run 1 hour in duration and the class size is limited to 6 students. We accept all juniors ages 7-17. The junior clinics are given every week at The North Texas Golf Center. *See the calendar of events for The Golf Institute for dates and times. Minimum class size is 3- Maximum class size is 6. Cost of the clinic is $25.00 per session or $85.00 for (4) four sessions. JUNIOR GOLF CAMPS MINI JUNIOR GOLF CAMP Camp covers all aspects of the game including playing. We teach the techniques of the swing and short game and apply them on the course. Covered are course management, speed of play, rules and etiquette. Cost of the Camp $150.00. Camp fees include professional instruction with an 8-1 student to instructor ratio, practice balls and equipment used during the lessons, greens fees during camp, refreshments, prizes, and USGA Rules of Golf book. Camp is for ages 7-15 of all skill levels. HOLIDAY AND SPRING BREAK JUNIOR GOLF CAMP FUNDAMENTALS AND PLAY ON THE PAR 3 Camp covers all aspects of the game including playing. We teach the techniques of the swing and short game and apply them on the course. Covered are course management, speed of play, rules and etiquette. Cost of the Camp $160.00. Camp fees include professional instruction with an 8-1 student to instructor ratio, practice balls and equipment used during the lessons, greens fees during camp, refreshments, prizes, and USGA Rules of Golf book. Camp is for ages 7-15 of all skill levels. The Golf Institute Half Day Junior Golfer Camp Including Golf On The Course This camp covers all aspects of the game of golf including playing. The junior will learn the techniques of the swing and short game shots. We will have practical application of swing and short game techniques on the course. We will cover course management and trouble shots. We will also learn about scoring and how to get around the golf course. We will put an emphasis on rules and etiquette of the game. Cost of the camp is $175.00 for 17.5 hours of instruction. Cost also includes all practice balls and equipment used during the camp as well as, printed materials, refreshments, contest prizes, and USGA Rules book. Camp is open at ages 7-17. Full Day Junior Golfer Camp at the North Texas Golf Center This camp is designed for the junior golfer who has some experience. We will spend the mornings each day working on the correct posititon of the swing and the proper techniques of short game shots. After lunch daily we will be taking the knowledge and use it in practical application on the golf course. We cover course management and trouble shots. We will cover the basics of how to play on the golf course and put an emphasis on rules and etiquette of the game. The junior will learn different types of play formats. We will hold a last day tournament in order to learn the rules of conduct during competition. Cost of the camp is $295.00 for 30 hours of instruction. Cost of the camp includes all practice balls, use of equipment, and greens fees used during the lessons. Also included in the fees are all printed materials, refreshments, LUNCH daily, tee prizes, contest prizes, USGA rules book and a discount for the summer junior golf tournament at The North Texas Golf Center. Camp is open to ages 8-17. Any Junior wishing to attend more than 1 camp can recieve a price break for the second week in attendance. 2 weeks of 1/2 Day Camp is $325.00 (regularly $350.00). 2 weeks of the Full Day Camp is $525.00 (regularly $590.00). Ask for other pricing. *See Calendar of Classes page for dates and times. PEE WEE GOLF CAMP FOR AGES 5,6,7 This camp covers the basics of golf. The Junior will learn about the equipment and its purpose. We spend a great deal of time learning the basic fundamentals of the swing and the short game. We will teach how to grip the club porperly and how to address the ball with proper posture. We will work on execution of shot game shots. (chipping, pitching, putting, and green side bunker shots). We will learn about scoring and we will discuss saftey and etiquette of the game. Cost of the Camp is $150.00 for 4 hours of instruction. Also included in the fees are all range balls and equipment used during the lessons, printed materials, refreshments, contest prizes, and a USGA Rules of Golf Book. Class is open to ages 5,6,7.
